About this role
Join a growing Vermont manufacturer as a Production Associate on a stable 1st shift line. You'll work as part of a team producing precision components for the aerospace and consumer-goods industries. We hire for attitude and train for skill — most current associates had no manufacturing background when they started. Temp-to-hire after 90 days, with a track record of more than 60% conversion to permanent.
What you'll do
- Assemble, inspect, and package components on a moving line
- Read and follow standard work instructions and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5S)
- Communicate quality issues to the line lead immediately
What you'll need
- Reliable transportation OR willingness to use VEA's free worker shuttle
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 35 lbs
- Valid photo ID and proof of work authorization
- Steel-toed boots (we'll point you to a discount supplier)
