About this role
Drive a dedicated local route out of our Essex distribution hub. Home every night, weekends off, and consistent Monday–Friday hours. This is a direct-hire placement with full benefits from day one — VEA finds the fit, then steps out of the way.
What you'll do
- Operate a Class A tractor on local Vermont and northern New England routes
- Inspect equipment per DOT regulations
- Load and unload at customer sites with a pallet jack
- Complete electronic logs and delivery paperwork
What you'll need
- Valid CDL-A license, clean driving record
- 12+ months recent driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack
- DOT physical and drug screen
